Comercell AB respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or do business with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

When you contact us or trade with us we process the details you give us: name, company, role, email address, telephone number and the content of our correspondence. When you visit this website we also process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device and pages viewed.

Why we process it

To answer enquiries and provide quotations, to enter into and perform contracts, to handle deliveries, invoicing and accounting, to meet legal obligations, and to maintain and improve this website. Our legal bases are contract performance, legitimate business interest and legal obligation.

This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, where you have consented, cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

Sharing your data

We share data only where needed to run our business: with hauliers and logistics partners handling your shipment, with banks and financing partners, with IT and hosting suppliers acting as our processors, and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Our suppliers are primarily based within the EU/EEA. Where a transfer outside the EU/EEA is necessary, it takes place only under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, with supplementary safeguards where required.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and thereafter as required by law — for example seven years for accounting records under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act. Enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted within 24 months.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse, including access controls, encrypted transfer and supplier vetting.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, and to have it corrected, erased or restricted. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at info@comercell.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

We may update this policy as our business, systems or the law change. The current version is always published on this page.
